Thank you for your interest in supporting Live UTI Free. We’re a small team with big dreams. All contributions support our mission to share unbiased, evidence-based information to sufferers of recurrent and chronic UTI. Contributions are possible via PayPal or Stripe credit card payment.
We work with researchers at universities in the US and UK, and provide support to PhD candidates conducting research into recurrent and chronic UTI. Through this program, we have already supported the development and validation of two Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) which help clinicians and scientists understand the experience of UTI from the patient perspective. In 2022, we will expand on this work and publish these tools to increase access for clinicians and scientists with the aim to improve patient outcomes.
Part of our role at Live UTI Free is to conduct in depth patient research to ensure that our team and the clinicians and researchers we work with, better understand the patient experience of recurrent and chronic UTI. We also work hard to connect patients with relevant clinical trials and studies. Support for this work will enable us to analyze thousands of survey responses, and to set up a more comprehensive recruitment process. Research and clinical trials are sorely needed in this space!
In 2021 we launched a series of video interviews with recurrent and chronic UTI experts, based on suggestions from our audience. Support allows us to reach more experts and create more content with the aim to provide our community with information to help them on their own journey to find answers.
A significant amount of the content we provide has been created by volunteers, and general support enables us to continue generating content, while maintaining our website. We currently accept general support via PayPal only. If you would like to support our work, please click on the button below.
Live UTI Free is currently a self-funded, limited entity. We are not a charity. (Note – this means that any receipt is evidence of payment but cannot be used as a tax deduction.) Everything we’ve created and shared has come from our personal commitment to make change in women’s health. We designate funds to projects on a priority basis via input from our donors, our users, and our research.
