Drie jaar na haar eigen reis met terugkerende UWI's begon Melissa anderen met soortgelijke verhalen te interviewen. Nu werkt ze samen met haar team van gepassioneerde pleitbezorgers voor de gezondheid van vrouwen om cruciale informatie te delen, zodat anderen betere tests en behandelingen voor UWI's kunnen vinden. <\/p>\n

De reis heeft geresulteerd in een uitgebreid netwerk van onderzoekers, artsen en gelijkgestemde organisaties en Melissa is altijd blij om te horen van iedereen die meewerkt aan het oplossen van het probleem van terugkerende UWI.<\/p><\/div>

Recognising the complexity of this challenge in chronic and recurrent UTI is what motivated Katherine to join the team at Live UTI Free.\r\n\r\nAs a Chartered Psychologist at the University of Reading, Katherine specialises in developing interventions to support patients and healthcare professionals in managing UTI and its psychosocial impact. She is committed to creating high-quality UTI impact assessment tools and improving how we support people with UTI within and beyond our health services.<\/div>

Jess' werk voor Live UTI Free komt voort uit haar passie om de manier waarop vrouwelijke pati\u00ebnten in hun eigen gezondheidszorg worden gezien te veranderen. Ze brengt een uniek perspectief in het team omdat ze uit de eerste hand de kloof tussen pati\u00ebnten en de medische gemeenschap heeft gezien. \n\nMet haar achtergrond in pati\u00ebntenbelangenbehartiging hoopt ze open communicatie binnen de arts-pati\u00ebntrelatie en een open houding ten opzichte van de diagnostiek en behandeling van chronische en terugkerende UWI's aan te moedigen.<\/div><\/div>
